What size is the nest home hub? Isn't there a small and large size? Can't tell from the link which one it is. Also had to laugh at the claim of "heart pounding bass" from the dual 4 inch speakers. Yeah, right.

It's the smaller hub. The larger one has the word max to the name and it has as camera on it.

The sound/bass on this thing is incredible. Incredibly loud and punchy. I don't think using those words is overselling it.
The home max is an excellent speaker. Unfortunately the microphone is not as good at the google home mini. I have the home max and the mini on the same floor but they are about 70ft away from each other. If I say a command while standing right next to the home max, oftentimes the mini across the room will pick up my voice and respond.

Thank you for the info. And I in no way intend to argue, but I don't see how it can in any way compare to a stereo with an actual subwoofer for "heart pounding bass". I'm sure it sounds good for what it is but that seems like a reach.
