I have the exact same thumb drive. Not only it's USB 2, quality is bad. I don't remember the last time I used it.

These are terrible. They are very cheap and die randomly. So, if you don't care about your data, these will be perfect for you.

2.0 is incredibly outdated now, and 3.0 drives are only slightly more expensive for significantly better performance. Please please please, save yourself the headache and time and just buy 3.0.

It's so odd that people feel they need to jump into threads to educate the plebs and save them from "bad" products. A lot of cases don't require a 3.0 flash drive. There are reasons to buy something that is 33% cheaper if it fills the use case adequately.

This drive being USB 2.0 is not an issue. What the actual issue is these drives just fail when writing data to it. It happens when writing multiple gigs of data to the drive with either one large file or several smaller files, it will just randomly disconnect. This also happens if you are deleting large amount of files from the drive too.
