I've never been a big fan of Beats. I know it's beating a dead horse, but you're buying their marketing budget more than the sound quality. I'd be willing to bet the Beats are comparable to most headphones in the $80-100 range you can find on Amazon by any number of rebranded headsets.
The Bose are $200 right now on their own site and much better sounding. Their noise cancelling is probably the best of any headphones and in the past they've also been fantastic in terms of customer support. My old QC 2's basically fell apart on me after almost a decade of use. I walked into their store and they let me trade in my pile of parts for a discount on a brand new pair of the newer model. Ended up getting the newer QC 3's for $100 out the door.
Haven't really tried the Sony's, but by all accounts they are equal to or better than the Bose in most areas. You'd have to wait for a good sale and maybe deal with an unauthorized seller to get close to $200 though.

Picked up a pair this morning, and for the price I think they're really good. Bass heavy, but I knew that and also appreciate it for the type of music I listen to (modern and classic rock).
Anyone can tell me if these will be good to watch shows and movies through Apple TV? I am worry that they will have high latency and the sound won't match perfectly the visual.
Thank you.

They are perfect for Apple TV. Just too good. I just don't see them as bass heavy. I could be wrong. But for Apple TV they are perfect. They have the Apple chip in it.

They should be perfect... I use my Bose 35II's with my Apple TV 4K w/o any latency. Same for my AirPods Pro💯
I checked a few reviews and it seems they are worse than Bose QC3-ii. Cannot really compare to QC2 as they are not wireless. QC3 at $200 would be better deal. Sony are the best if you can find deal.
Yeah... Would like to know what as well. Never thought I would be following $150+ headphone threads with so many < $50 options available, but here I am.
