Huge pet peeve of mind is when the tech specs don't call out whether DP and/or PD is supported on the USB C ports. Manufacturer web sites need to explicitly say yes or no, not just leave it out.

Completely agree. According to the user manual posted on the UM425IA support page, https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASU...25IA_A.pdf, page 22, they are "USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C®/DisplayPort/Power Delivery combo port".

I am currently leaning towards the Asus for the Ryzen CPU & the lower weight of 2.78 (asus) vs 3.39 (S7) pounds. The MX350 seems to leave the Intel combo on par with the Ryzen for graphics perf
The 3.5mm ports and stuff do not bother me on either, although S7 has the thunderbolt 3 (not that I think I really need it)

Well that's good news! Although it shouldn't take us this much effort to find the info. It's usually good news when the feature is available, so it would make sense for retailers to have it included in the product description.

There is Power Delivery, DisplayPort (dunno version), and Data.
UM425IA: Ryzen 7 4700U / 16GB / 1 TB SSD / 250 Nit Matte 100% sRGB --- $850
IdeaPad Slim 7: Core i7-1065G7 (10th gen) / GTX350 / 16 GB / 512 GB SSD / 300nits Glossy 100% sRGB --- $879
Any thoughts?
