Arlo Pro 2 Wireless 1080p Indoor / Outdoor Security 1-Camera Kit w/ Base Station Expired

Honestly just got rid of my pro 2s and switched to Eufy 2k cams. Arlo Pro 2 video quality just doesn't cut it anymore.

OK everyone, I am here to help, not just bash on Arlo and their shitty ass product and even worse support.

I bought an Arlo system 4.5 years ago. After about 3 months, geofencing did not work. I called and opened a ticket, got virtually no response so I reached out to the BBB and started a case to get Arlo's attention. Over the next 4 years, I worked with Arlo's "engineering team" and gave them logs from my system, from my phone, etc etc etc......and geofencing only partially ever worked. Either way, I kept dealing with it like an idiot, because of the $$$ I had invested. I had a 7 camera system, mounts, charging systems because I got tired of changing batteries, etc.


Fast forward to June 1, 2020. I cannot log into my account one day. Just straight up cannot log in. Call help desk. It took THREE months to get resolution to this, and then another month for them to fix the remaining info on my account. In the meantime, I lost my $99 annual subscription price and they wanted to charge $14/mo PER CAMERA. Ridiculous. I even contacted an attorney who wrote a letter demanding a solution......and they offered me a free year of subscription to a camera system I still cannot log into half the time.


Their product is pure garbage anymore. It was good at the time, now it is pure shit. Their service has always been pure shit, and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

A couple of months ago I bought a Eufy system, I wanted an POE but can't run cables to a few places where I have cameras so I had to go wireless. Holy shit, this is what a camera system can do? Responsive, fast, does exactly what I want, easy to use, and much more affordable.

Save your money, save your aggravation, and save your time. Go get a Wyze, or Eufy, or whatever knockoff brand you can find because it is going to be better than this Arlo crap.

I really am surprised Arlo is not subject to a class action lawsuit yet. They sell a garbage product that doesnt work. They don't care.

I've been an arlo fanatic for years, but eufy straight copied it and made it better. So many more options for free and much better picture quality. Alerts are faster and live feeds load faster. App is better too.
