I believe this is the one of the cheapest RTX 2080 desktop I've seen. I spent more than this on a XPS 8930 with a GTX 2070 Super via Dell this summer...
MSI Aegis RS 9SE-025US
CPU - i7-9700F on MSI Z370 Gaming Plus motherboard
RAM - 2x8GB DDR4 3000Mhz
GPU - MSI RTX 2080 8GB DDR6
SSD - 1TB
PSU - 650W 80 Plus Gold
Reviews are majority good, a few complaints about running hot but outside of a few quality issues that plague these pre-built systems, I believe this is a decent price for a brand-name rig with the RTX 2080 and a warranty - no doubt to clear inventory for the new gen CPU & GPU's.

Yeap and they are all slower than 3070 which when in stock will be available for $499. 3070 almost 2080ti like performance. By Dec or January you can build a 3070 pc at this price point and zen3 cpus (5 Nov) and big navi will be also available on 18Nov.
If anyone who has waited this long to build a pc then just hold on to what u have until dec jan and u will get the best bang for your buck.
Yeah Newegg customer service is trash.

Good luck finding any of that stuff, lol. Better read up on the supply chains bro. Limited production + incredibly high demand = you'll need to be perched out every day at your computer ready to pull the trigger if one goes in stock, because it'll be out of stock in 2 minutes.

Problem is they are becoming 2nd fiddles so quickly that it's hard to keep up to date

But one can build this better at a lower price even for now if there's an MC nearby. The i7-9700k deal is crazy. Then keep monitoring EVGA B-stock, 2080S is $460 with warranty and it restock from time to time. Building a whole i7-9700k+2080S on a Z390 is around $1,100 or so. If you are patient and go for open box it potentially can be build for <$1,000. But again this has warranty.
Or just get a 5700XT for the time being if you really can't wait..
It will begin to get better, patience is they key here lol. AMD is known to have better product availability at their launches.
2080 (with a 9700F) at this price point is not a good deal but if someone really need one right now its thier choice (of-course its their money lol)

You might be right but when looking at buying PCs in general if you wait a few months you'll always get something better for a similar price
I would expect a "Super" anything to be too tier. They really screwed that up.
Sure... but with Black Friday/cyber Monday nearby and new tech just right around the corner though... might as well wait because the new tech might be worth it
