Why do you say EOL? For the color or machine? I did read a rumor where they are working on a model that no longer required a mat for many things. No way of knowing if it will be at the $369 pricepoint or higher.
Have they fixed their software issue? I just remember that the wife had a heck of a time getting it to work and it was more of a web app than an actual offline computer program. Had she known that in advance, it would have been a deal-killer.
Is this better than the Walmart deal for $299 for just the Cricut Maker?
Essential bundle is $70 on Cricut's site but the picture of what you get looks very different from the Costco bundle picture. Not sure if that means anything.

I've had a Cricut for almost 2 years and not really ever had any software issues. They did make the migration quite some time ago to an app from the web-based version and it works offline now.

Awesome, thanks. It's been a while, but that was most of the reason that she stopped using it!
I recall EOL part where that was on the older Cricut cutters (e.g.: air and air 2) and the Makers (this deal) would be the ultimate version where they would only release new blades and such. For the non mat version, I "believe" they're still aiming for the Maker models but feel free to correct my statement.
Note: I'm excluding the Joy models from my statements as those are subject to have model upgrades. I'm only discussing the full sized cutter machines.

I honestly can't tell if this is a good deal or not.
The Everything bundle on Cricut's site is $50 more, but comes with several different cutting mats (this one doesn't include any?), sound like it comes with more tools, comes with multiple material samplers, transfer tape, a trimmer, and a different pen set. That might actually be a better value.
I've been thinking about getting the Cricut Maker, so now I'm just waiting on the right deal. I already have one cutting mat (I think, unless it's meant to be a standalone mat?), as well as weeding tools and scrapers/burnishers, so either of these kits have some dupes for me.

The Cricut Joy was a test for the no mat feature. Cricut is discontinuing the colors of the current Maker model. They are coming out with a newer model with the no mat feature but still use the same blades as the Maker. Covid pushed everything back. My bet is on the new flagship (Maker 2) will be the same MSRP as when the Maker was released. I am just glad the blades will continue.

I just bought the Costco bundle. I have a feeling it will go cheaper but I can price match. Plus it is Costco, return it when you are done, years later. LOL.
It came with two mats, lightweight and fabric. Let me know if you have more questions.

Oh, good to know it comes with mats.
Update EDIT:
After some more review, I went with the Cricut Everything bundle. I realized that by paying for a month of Access membership, you get 10% off. There is $12 shipping, though, whereas the Costco deal includes shipping. After taxes, the difference for me was $30.52, which I think is well worth the extra materials and accessories they include. I was able to cancel the Access renewal immediately -- you don't lose your paid month of access, though.
If you think you'll order lots of materials, you can buy the Access Premium membership for 20% off materials and get free shipping, too. The standard plan still includes 10% off and the same access to fonts, images, projects, etc.

I actually bought a Cameo 4 bundle from Costco a few months back, thinking the same thing. It sold out after a week, and never came back in stock.

The champagne color bundle I posted before is OOS, but the rose color is still available:
