Not a bad deal price wise for components but do be aware of a few things.

1. Motherboard is potentially a dell proprietary, having non standard connections. May limit upgradeability.

2. Weak and potentially low quality power supply. Limits upgrade ability and reliability.

3. 1x 8gb stick of ram. If you don't add another stick on your own you will be stuck running in single channel instead of dual channel. Limiting your performance until you do upgrade.
This is a good deal for what it is. If this is all you are looking for buy it. I'm not sure why every PC thread needs to be judged on upgradability. Not everyone needs to open up and put new power supply in or drop a new GPU card. I'm looking for an everyday PC for my dad. He's probably good for 5+ years with stock settings.
Thats 3 major CONs here. Enough to scare anyone who knows what they are doing away.

Yes not a good deal if you want to upgrade later... otherwise it's decent deal, just need to upgrade ram

Anyone know if this graphics card/system would support 4k HDR video (movies/TV)? , no need for gaming

How is this for gaming if adding another 8gb of ram? I know they call it a gaming desktop but of course not all are created equal.

You could get another 8gb stick at the same speed from $25.

Depends on what games, resolution and settings... this is a 1080p gaming rig... high settings for cs go and low settings for the new assassins creed if you want decent FPS

Will it be good for a few years if I upgrade only ram to 16 or 32GB? Just office work and internet browsing. I need something in this price range from Dell. I looked at other deals at Dell and there's nothing good
