It features a Shimano grip shifter and rear derailleur gear system. The blue electric bike includes front and rear V-brakes for enhanced stopping power and front suspension forks for a comfortable ride. It also has an integrated flush-mounted battery and a rear hub brushless motor. The battery charges in around four hours and lasts for about 20 miles. ~ persian_mafia

Can this be repurposed into a men's bike? I wanted to get my son an electric bike for his birthday.

Bought 2 of these and moded the battery. The men bike is much better and very sturdy but the women one is very shaky.

Yes, just repaint the frame.
Alternatively, keep it the way is it. It's a women's bike because it's smaller to accommodate smaller frames, not because it's light blue

It's also missing the top part of the frame so that women can wear skirts when riding

What did it cost you to modify it?

Waiting for my replacement. Check the cables as you unpack it. Mine at the front shock were snapped in transit.

Got any info for me how to mod the battery? I have 3 of these things. Also, I thought the man and woman version were the same except color. Oh well, I'm happy with the woman version and will be repainting them a diff color when they are no longer shiny.

Also, I know I can change out the battery cells, but do you know if the battery casing is standardized? That is can I buy a quality 3rd party battery (case and cells) and just put it in without reusing my existing battery case (er, enclosure, or whatever it's called)?

Bikes are now considered "genderless". This bike is simply considered a step through. Both men and women are now socially allowed to ride it.

Not true— the step-through is for riders up to 6'2". I have both.
