Regular price here in NYC... but I ripped them all a new one and eventually got it price matched to $79. If you have the patience, go the struggle route and get it done!

I went to check it out at my home depot and wasn't impressed.

It really doesn't look like a $200 tree to me.

I was looking for an upgrade and it didn't feel like an upgrade from my walmart tree so I passed.

Edit: The sign still said $199 at my store and I didn't try to check at register.

Look how high it is off the ground. It's probably actually 6 feet of tree.

Comparing to the HD tree that I got a few years ago this one is far less superior. This one only has 1,133 tips vs. 1,800+ a few years ago. That's important when it comes to artificial trees. The less tips the less full the tree looks.

Just drove out to check out after seeing in another thread and pretty disappointed after seeing in store. Even fully fluffed, lots of holes. It's a great price but if your main tree and you can spend more, that seems like better option.

Picked one up as a second tree to put in the front window. Thanks, OP!

This is definitely an 80$ tree and not a 200$ tree. I went to look at it, and the other 7.5ft trees that were 150-200$ looked significantly better. It's not a bad deal at 80$, but you're not getting a 200$ tree for 80$.

I would say to go to a local HD and see for yourself if you can. I needed a tree for my 2nd home and thought this would be an economical choice, but it paled in comparison to the others just a little bit more. I couldn't pull the trigger as a result. Now if I had only known about the 2nd home and purchased an extra last year for 50, 70, or 90% off. Smilie.

Agreed. I was just at HD and saw this tree. It is so cheap looking PVC shredded tree. The PVC trees are tinsel looking trees vs the PE moulded trees, which looks like real branches.
