People seem to love the scotch deal postings, but I'm not positive that this is super hot as you can get both from total wine for $92.

Brick and Mortar only, not available online.

Links to total wine:
https://www.totalwine.com/spirits.../191555750 $40
https://www.totalwine.com/spirits...p/92051750 $52

However, the reviews on the 15 year are really good, so if availability for your area is an issue, Costco has you covered.

There is also a typo on the tag, as it says Glenfiddich (you can see in my pic). I did not see any Glenfiddich combo packs, so assumed this was supposed to say Glenlivet.

I have found pricing from Total Wine competitive with Costco on a lot of Scotch bottles with them even beating the prices in some cases. You really have to wait until Costco is clearing out their stock to get some good deals.

Crazy! Looks like the 15 year old is also more at Total Wine in Vegas. I'd never guess that booze was cheaper in CA than Nevada!

I seem to recall many years ago you could get The Glenlivet 12, 15 and 18 for $100 at Costco. I'd be all over it if that deal came back. 18+ year old scotch has really exploded in price.

On another note, Costco also had an 11 year old bottle of some Japanese whiskey, but I looked up the reviews and could find very little about it, so I passed. Should have taken a picture! I think it was Ohishi 11 year old, but not sure the price.

I know it's harder and harder to find scotch with a date on it, so it caught my eye, but I was in a hurry. Now I kind of regret not grabbing one anyway.

The price tag says Glenfiddich. Glenfiddich is usually more expensive than Glenlivet for the same age. Either way, a great deal. If only my state would allow Costco to sell liquor, we wouldn't have to pay outrageous prices that authorized stores charge.

I saw my Costco had their 3-pk again. Looked to see if the price was like the $50 it was last year (year before??) but sadly it was like $150 LMAO

If it was that Suntory stuff (Hoki or Tibiki) it's pretty good although I oddly started drinking whisky when I was in Japan for a while so I guess I compare everything else to it. I don't think the Costco price is all that great though from what I've seen.

They do have others but I can't really tell much of a difference at that price point and I'd rather pick up some poke or lobster tails with the savings Big Grin

I think he is talking about Ohishi mizunara cask finish 11 years. I picked it up before Halloween at the Costco in Sacramento. Can't remember the price, maybe $70 or $80.

or if you're ok with the kirkland brand scotch, those are some really good values (both in liquor and wine).

I really don't get those laws and are there seriously not enough people to get something allowing other stores to sell liquor on the ballot? I feel like in certain states you could run on just that position and get voted in to office laugh out loud It's been a # of years but I was in NYC and we had to go to 3 different stores to get everyone's liquor request one night. So friggin annoying!

I was in Montana at a Costco and I guess you can't buy hard alcohol there but you can buy beer/wine so their premade margarita mix didn't contain tequila, it contained agave wine. Talk about a loophole Big Grin
