Alright, got the drivers from Gateway Support! The technician actually provided me a DropBox link, with a single .zip file that is over 4GB in size. I'm downloading now, here's the link he provided me, which appears to be a public link. Not sure how long it will stay live for, so I'm uploading to my Google Drive now and will post the link once it's finished.

Great deal, but with this and other, similar deals popping up, just remember that if you buy an i5 processor, you're probably limiting yourself for the future since 4-core processors like those are rapidly becoming outdated and I think that's why we're seeing so many i5 laptops go on sale. I'd much rather wait a couple weeks and spend $799 on the Asus TUF laptop Best Buy has going on sale on the 22nd with an RTX 2060 and a Ryzen 7-4800H 8-core processor. It'll treat you well longer, making it worth the price different.

If you're gonna get a laptop with an i5, you might as well save money and buy one with a slightly less flashy GPU since you're not really getting the full performance out of it anyway.

System RAM is just 8 GB of single-channel DDR4-3200 which is expandable up to 32 GB dual-channel.

Acer licensed the name to a Chinese company to make these laptops. Acer is not involved with the walmart Gateway laptops at all. Wouldn't say its all bad news like this article makes it out to be. People on SD have good comments on the EVOO laptops before. Also annoying is that the Ryzen 5 4600H comes with a 1650, they should've switched the CPU and GPU around and given the better CPU with the better GPU.

you can take off the back cover and install a 2nd stick of ram , and a 2nd stock of ssd

I also want to know about the single channel Ram, because it does then mention that it is upgradeable up to 32gb dual channel, can someone explain if this is actually something bad? I'm trying to by my son's first gaming laptop and I have little knowledge about computers
