A lot of good deals on laptops popping up, but this is the only one I've seen with a good, modern 8-core processor, which is a massive leap over the 4-core i5 processors in a lot the machines I've seen posted. If you want something a bit futureproof, this is a great budget option.

This would be my pick of a laptop if buying. Ryzen 7 is faster than any intel based i7 counterparts out there, and a 2060 is a good (although not great) card. Wished Laptop manufacturers would pair a 2070 with this but...all laptop manufacturers somehow didn't offer this.

Don't get this. I bought it from best buy when they had this deal a few weeks ago and returned it. The screen is 60 hz and very dim. Also the Asus TUF A15 are known for terrible ventilation for heat.
