Is this good ? Father in law golfs I don't and he needs a new one
This is a very basic bag. If he golfs often, I'd wait for a better bag to be on sale for BF, preferably a Talyormade, Callaway, Ping, Titleist, Sun Mountain, etc

Thoughtful but I wouldn't, this is a cheap bag. It's almost always a bad idea to buy something for an enthusiast if you're not into the same hobby... family does this all the time for me and though I am thrilled they are being so thoughtful, all I can wonder how there nice gesture was a waste of money.
Honestly found some good bags second hand in new condition (some with tags and all) on Nextdoor's market place... sometime even Facebook/Craigslist too. Bought a $200 bag for $40, never even used. It's seems to be a common gift for golfers and then they don't need it for whatever reason or it's cheaper than the ones they have. Also, stick to the name brand too... many golfers, myself included, deep down are brand whores. Even if something works great, often doesn't feel as good with one of those sexy name brands on their.
Just received mine. For the price, it is a good value considering all the pockets and compartments. I was using the orlimar pitch and putt ($31 on Amazon) as were many of my friends. It has a very cheap strap and single useless tiny pocket. For $1 more here, I have many more features.

Buy him some ProV1's instead. You'll quickly be the favorite in the family.
