This is 100% standard in the banking world. Rates have dropped a ton lately and most banks don't give notice on rate changes. Some online banks do. I have Ally and they SOMETIMES give rate decrease emails. Either way, it doesn't matter much to me because they're always higher or as high as any other savings.

Just called, they said my account wasn't opened with the bonus offer. Only thing they can do is add a note under my account. And after meet the 2 DD $1000, called back after Feb. 2nd to ask for manually review for the bonus. Not sure if it's worth the trouble now.
How you guys going to do if missing the promo code in the process?
Your Identity Protection service has detected that Capital One 360 used your personal information to request and receive access to your credit report and score. This is considered a new credit inquiry.
Just called, they said my account wasn't opened with the bonus offer. Only thing they can do is add a note under my account. And after meet the 2 DD $1000, called back after Feb. 2nd to ask for manually review for the bonus. Not sure if it's worth the trouble now.
