I did a Capital One 360 Savings promo a few years back for both the wife and I. Would I (we) still be eligible for this (we never had a 360 checking account).
What counts as a DD? Can I just transfer money from another online savings account? Don't really want to mess around switching payroll, etc.
Do I need to unlock credit and or chex systems if they are frozen?
Seems like a decent deal to get $800 for me and the misses with minimal hoops to jump through.

1. I used Robinhood for direct deposit and confirmed with CS that it counts. It does not show up as "ach" in the description for transactions though
2. I used the OP link that had the promo already filled out when signing up for an account. Confirmed that the promo was activated. I did not fund when I signed up
3. I opened the account early December and fully funded mid December. CS said I should see the bonus applied end of March.
4. Confirmed with CS that once I satisfied the requirements of the promo I no longer needed to keep the money in the account.

I dont think that is what a direct deposit is. Direct deposit as in, for work. A job. As in continuous payments that automatically deposited to your account on a bi-weekly basis.
