Not bad. Same SSD was on sale in Newegg for like $68 bucks just a few days ago.

Edit:
I was wrong. Newegg had the CX2 (SLC) and the one from OP is GX2 (TLC).

This is GX2 and Newegg had CX2 on sale. CX2 is newer, but not sure the difference. GX2 seems to focus on performance and CX2 has newer tech. https://www.teamgroupinc.com/en/p...sd/2.5-ssd

Ah thanks for clarification. Looks like the one from newegg was SLC and this one appears to be a TLC.

Caution - Be Careful *** Complete / Sudden Failure*** in about 2 months.

Mine died suddenly without warning and I lost all my data. Mad

They only have email support. It took them over 2 days to respond and you have to pay for packing and shipping to send it back.

No advanced replacement option.
No option to call them... the number listed on the RMA is out of service.
No telling how long it will take to get a replacement.

I missed out on this cx2 deal. Would've been great as a ps5 external ssd to hold ps4 games. I might consider getting this one, or stay on the look out for more deals.

Yeah i am using the cx2 to upgrade the original spinning drive in my ps4 actually. Can't justify buying the ps5 just yet. When the time comes to get the ps5, i will just repurpose the cx2 as an external for the ps5. It's a win/win for me either way lol.

I will never buy another TeamGroup product. Its simply not worth the failure risk, the long RMA response time and the unnecessary long down time.

They have the worse process for dealing with defective products that I have ever encountered.

It took over 2 weeks to obtain an rma and have them confirm the defective product. They ignore any request for an advanced replacement (even if I pay in advance).

They estimate a month before they are able to begin shipment of a the replacement product ("Normally, we may need an estimated turnaround time of 10~20 working days from the date we receive your return products.").

This is terrible customer service. Who wants to be down for months waiting on a vendor to replace their defective products?
