True but honestly for the price this is still a great deal. Even if replace after 3 years it's still cheap. But I have a feeling there's probably a way to open it and replace the battery. They just removed the door but the battery is still inside....unless it's soldered or something then it might not be as easy..

I'm not sure it's worth replacing them anyway. Most times, the batteries cost about half what a new backup cost. Then you have no warranty on anything else going wrong now. These things just don't last in my opinion. Not sure if I'll get another.
