It won't be such a good deal once you have to replace the ink cartridges for the first time. It's probably the worst deal listed here.😂
Edit: as others mentioned don't purchase this solely for a scanner. There are good apps free for the iPhone and the one I highly recommend is Evernote Scannable out of everything I have tried so far.
This is also NOT a HP printer so it not eligible for the instant ink program. There is no affordable ink option for this machine. This is just going to take up space in a landfill once you realize how expensive the ink is
Just a tip, most (all) cellphones have a scanner app you can download. There are a bunch out there. Take a picture of the page you're scanning and it converts it into a pdf. It's been working great for me, and it's free (unless you pay a dollar or two for additional feature)

However, wanted to make sure you know they don't have cameras. That could be either a plus or a minus for you, but for me it's a bummer, since I wish I could use the hubs for video-chatting with my family.
If you just print color once in a while get a cheap laser printer and get color prints elsewhere. Saved me a fortune.
It's the HP instant ink program. It's not free. You pick a page plan and pay by the month.
