Just an FYI, this was posted yesterday on reddit:

Mint mobile agent just told me that tomorrow will be a Black Friday sale for new members of buy 3 months get 3 free... But the device you're using cannot have been active on Mint Mobile for 91 days. So even if you order a new SIM or phone number it's the device you are using that will determine if you are eligible for the sale price.

So if you are using google voice and renewing with a new number the discount might not work.

Promo requires you haven't used the IMEI number in the past 90days. Does that count if I used mint sim but cancel/return service after a couple of days?

you have to buy plan using the referral link or enter code during ordering. It can not be entered later.

Probably a dumb question but can I port over my number if I don't have the account number and PIN? My number is in a business account provided by my employer, and they are ok to release the number, but won't be able to provide account number or PIN. I know others were able to port their numbers to other carriers without providing these info, but it looks like Mint requires them?

To get the answer, you can directly chat with the CS and if it works, they can process that for you.

Thanks! I tried that already but it just asks me to call them, but then I had to wait on the line for over 20 mins before I had to go due to work... Gonna try later though

Does each new line need to have a separate account or can we use the family option and have the 3 months free applied to family members? I activated my account yesterday, if I create a family, add a 3 month sim within the promotion deadline, will this family member also receive 3 months free?

I clicked a referral link and still see full charges of $45. Does the $15 come later, to be applied to future renewals?
