Just an FYI, this was posted yesterday on reddit:

Mint mobile agent just told me that tomorrow will be a Black Friday sale for new members of buy 3 months get 3 free... But the device you're using cannot have been active on Mint Mobile for 91 days. So even if you order a new SIM or phone number it's the device you are using that will determine if you are eligible for the sale price.

So if you are using google voice and renewing with a new number the discount might not work.
Unlimited Data: Unlimited means speeds will be reduced to a max of 128Kbps after >35GB/mo. or use of GB allotment for the remainder of the billing cycle. 1 month equals 30 days. Partial megabytes rounded up. Unlimited on handset and network only
Don't forget to stack it with referral code 😉

From what I understood, $75 credit is for the 12gb plan, not the 3gb.
Please read this entire thread. You're asking question s that have already been answered over and over and over and over and over and over...

Sure, better yet, just google for any questions you have and no need for going to any forums. 😀

Or you could just read the comment you're responding to because twice now you've done just that: asked a question that was answered in the same post to which you were replying.

From your post count I'll assume you're trolling and don't have anything better to do on weekends. People like you make it difficult for people who truly need assistance to get it and for people like me who try to assist others.
There's absolutely no reason to keep this thread open now since the deal is dead for almost 3 weeks and all questions have been answered.

So people like you always go through 600+ messages such as in this thread to find your answers? You should either answer the question or just let others answer. Done talking to you.

Great news, Mint is upping the data allotment from 3/8/12GB per month to 4/10/15, effective Jan 29: https://www.reddit.com/r/mintmobi...gigabytes/

This makes sense as (if I'm not mistaken) T-Mobile's Connect plan will soon go from 2GB to 2.5GB/mo, at $15/mo. Mint might have felt it wasn't competitive offering just 500MB more but requiring a year's commitment for the $15 price.

If you haven't activated yet, wait until January 29 if you want the higher data amount.

ok, let me ask this:
How many people here got credit equal to the Renewal price of their plan?
or did you just get the credit equal to what you paid?
The amount I paid +$30.
It states in the email to sweeten the deal we gave you additional $30.

No mention of $ value credit, strictly just that my next 3 months are free. You never saw this before during your process right?
It looks like that because you already started using your 3 free months.

It states in the email. Credit is available if you purchase a 12 month plan before your 3 months free starts. If you don't do anything credit will disappear and 3 month free will start. The later is the case for you.

Huh, that makes sense. So it's either accepting the 3 free months, or taking the equivalent 3mo worth credits towards a 1-year renewal on the same plan.

I just activated on 1/16 which is 8 days ago. How could I already be using the 3 free months when I haven't gotten through the paid ones? lol

Sorry I assumed you started using your free months on 1/16.
As far as I know to be eligible for this promotion you had to activate by1/2/2021.If you activated on 1/16 I guess you are not part of the same deal.

If it helps credit comes in the last month of paid three months. You are too early in your plan then.

Exactly. Thats how it is described in the email I got.
My understanding it doesn't need to be same plan. If you buy 12 months it can be any plan and still can use credits.

The answer to your question is in the comment to which you responded :Smh:
---------> $75 <----------

$75 is the regular price for the 3GB 3mo plan and should be the credit received by those who signed up for the B3G3F holiday offer. That offer is expired as of January 4th, 2021. Not to be confused with their regular running B3G3F offer.

From that screenshot it looks like you're using the website so go to the left and select "manage plan". There you will see the option to turn off auto renewal (turn it off) and you'll see all the plans [imgur.com] where you can select what your next renewal will be. Select one, then on the left go to "Home". You should now see how much your next renewal is, and what your account credit is, listed a "renewal balance [imgur.com]".

This is all assuming (perhaps wrongly) that you got the holiday deal. I'm new to Mint so am not sure if there's another spot to see the account credit on their website. I prefer their app; very simplified, just the basics.

The transactions section of the website says the promo is valued at $45. Additionally, when looking on the App it says the renewal balance is $45. Getting a screenshot on App and adding it to this is too time-consuming so you'll need to take my word for it.

Again, I really think the loophole was closed. Regardless, it doesn't affect me because I wasn't considering using a hypothetical $75 credit towards yearly renewal. I'll seek another deal in six months' time.

Dude no. The terms of the deal in this thread is order by end of 1/4, activate within 45 days. Your spinning of the conversation is neither helpful nor appreciated.

I meant the amount of credits depends on the plan you purchased.

Ok then you may get the credit when you come into your last paid month (I wrote this in previous message as well). No one else get the credit only 8 days after their activation.
I am not spinning trying to help.

In addition credit is not only for three months. it says 3 months +$30 to sweeten the deal. In my case with 8gb plan I received $60(this is what I paid) +$30=$90. With same logic 3 gb should be getting $45+$30=$75.
Just wait about 52 days. You will most likely receive it.

It's now been 10 days since I activated and I have NOT gotten the 3 months PROMO from Mint at all! I purchased it directly from mint late in December. This sux! I came from ultra which is not an issue and has been discussed a zillion times on this thread about it Not being an issue for the promo and I def have Not been a Mint customer ever. 10 days later and nothing. I called Cs and they were clueless. They said they opened a ticket and it would take up to 78 hours. Don't trust them..

Any one else have to deal with this Crap? how did you take care of it? Appreciate any feedback. Thanks to all!
