I agree , its a pain to return these with newegg, you are better off paying little extra with deals from ebay or walmart . Peace of mind is very important
Apologies for hijacking the thread, but I am in the market for a cordless vac. My initial plan was just for my first floor wood flooring (instead of taking out the corded canister vac). Do the cordless vacs do a good job on rugs? I'm guessing 20 minutes of battery time will suffice for my condo.

Yes cordless vaccums are great. Dyson V10 has 60 minute battery life. They also have exceptional suction.
I got a brand new V8 from this deal last year even though it said refurbished, got that for $180 and prob the best deal on a dyson period. This time I bought the V10 absolute, looks way better, bigger, longer batt life, better bin emptying. Seems like a no brainer at $260, bought it for my parents. Love these refurbished deals, usually they come brand new. 8.5.2
Not even good; you are going to spend more time emptying the bin; just spend the extra $30 bucks to get absolute variant
Please stop with the Motorhead it's too many compromises for a +$200 vacuum since these are as only good as the accessories you have
Yes, you want both heads, but what's your issue with the emptying? That's like V6 and below...4 models ago...and those emptying issues were easily remedied with a chopstick or skewer.
It blows my mind how people complain about being unable to empty those older models...I literally figured it out the first time emptying...I started with a pencil out of convenience and then evolved to a skewer. Takes maybe 2 seconds longer than the new emptying system (which is perfect).

Did you also purchase the extended warranty through Newegg?
I see that they also have a 10% promotion code for new buyer signup.
Retailmenot has 8% cash back
Pay through paypal using chase cards adds additional 5% off.
Contemplating whether to get the extended warranty or not.

I have the Dyson 8 and its not compatable with the V6 attachments
Will the Dyson V8 be compatabile with V10?
(freaking dyson trying to screw us with the new attachements)

The Motorhead only comes with a couple attachments, but the Absolute comes with everything (including the soft/fluffy roller head).
Dyson V7, V8, V10 and V11 attachments are all interchangeable.
