Saw a taste test on America's Test Kitchen, and they said there wasn't a real noticeable difference between any variety of fresh ground pepper. Only real important thing was grinding it fresh.

This doesn't seem like much of a deal compared to Amazon's own Happy Belly branded ones that are $8.50 and occasionally drop to under $7. These are now my go-to for pepper:

The ones in this post are of unknown quality and don't carry any sort of grading beyond the seller's own "AAA". The Amazon ones are the top quality Indian "tellicherry":

FTFY - this is 100% shill, with the after coupon price surprisingly landing at about the average price for this amount of peppercorns.

Yeah I didn't want to fully come out and say it was without proof- but you're right the ridiculously large discount to equal the normal price of other sellers (including Amazon's price) all points to a shill post.

If you are a Costco member, this is on their site. Kirkland Signature Whole Black Peppercorn, 14.1 oz, Item 164950. Your Price $5.49 Delivery Fee $3.00 so the Amazon price is not that far off from Costco. But if you are there shopping anyway, you obviously skip the delivery fee which is a much better deal.
