Ps I order from Walmart, Amazon has a 100% box is smashed to pieces guarantee, and I collect the boxes too

My last lego set from Amazon was shipped in the lego retail box with a label slapped on the lego box. I couldn't believe they'd ship anything that way let alone a $150 set risking theft. I went with walmart as well.

That option isn't available for some of these sales- they discount the damaged boxes that get obliterated in shipping.
True. Always worth checking. And this tip goes for any Amazon order AFAIK. I've received so many smashed/crushed items, especially since they've seemed to default to padded envelopes and bags over shipping boxes more and more.
I did this last time. So instead of shipping my Lego in a padded envelope, Amazon shipped it in a thin white plastic bag! SMH
