So I have couple of iTunes gift cards that are not redeemed yet, if I redeem them now, will I be able to use that against an iPhone order? If those cards work, I only need to buy the rest using this deal.

Yes, you can use it for App Store and for hardwares at Apple.com. I bought iPhone this time with the balance in my Apple/iTunes account. However, I as far as I know, for now, if you load them to your Apple account, you cannot by them in the Apple Retail store. You can only by thing on apple store website, then ship it or pick up in store.

When Target had a similar deal a few months ago, the terms specifically stated "one per guest transaction". I was able to purchase nine with separate transactions with one Target account. I think the Target system is coded to only handle one gift card assignment per transaction, and maybe that's why they can't disburse more than one Target GC per transaction.

Good deal, but I wish it is the other way around so I can use $20 Apple GC as gift.

Wow, if there is no limit on how many of these you can purchase AND AND they stack, this is crazy. Basically 20% any apple product.
Even better if you have a Discover card you get 5% cashback if you use target.com

Yes, you can use the balance of iTunes cards for hardware purchases or any other Apple products or services. Apple converted all iTunes cards to Apple GCs when it discontinued iTunes cards.

Can someone give me tips on how I can use this deal to lower the price of a new iPad Air, if at all possible? Maybe even with an Apple Pencil to go with it.

Maybe buying 6x Apple gift cards ($600). Then with the 6x target gift cards ($120), I could buy the pencil at target. Would this be the best way? It's essentially getting a free pencil.

I think the savings is the same if you use the RED card vs use Discover 5%. RED Card immediately discounts 5% but Discover will give you 5% later.
