Yes, if you order through Apple.com online and pick up in store, the maximum giftcards that can be applied to the order will be 8 only. However, one way to work around that is added the giftcard into your AppleID account first www.apple.com/redeem - maximum amount you can have under your AppleID is $2000, then you can use the giftcards for the rest.
In able to add balance, either use apple.com/redeem and follow the steps or
go to Apple.com --> select shopping cart --> account --> "your apple balance account" --> Manage balance --> add money to balance/ redeem gift card voila!

There is a 20 transaction limit on the RedCard when used at Target.com. In other words, you can place 20 online orders on Target.com per 24-hour period. There is no limit on the in-store purchase. Unknown if this limit apply to the RedCard with the MasterCard logo.

- Each card needs to be purchased as a separate Target transaction in order to get the Target card bonus for each Apple card.
- You can use the same Target account, no need to make separate accounts (unless you are trying to circumvent the new limit that seems to have been added today).
- You will get an order confirmation email immediately.
- Apple cards will arrive via email several hours to a day later. The email has a link to Target's fulfillment site which will then take you to the actual gift card code. 1) yes, technically you can do 20 per account but they must be individual transactions.
2) No, you can only redeem the apple GC for Apple Cash.
3) yes and no, yes you can combine the target GCs in your taget account but you can not use them online to buy another apple GC. In store you may be able to do this.
