I have purchased 12, each with individual transactions. I have received all my codes and still waiting for the 3 more $20 gift card. No issues at all. It does take a little longer this time, probably due to high demand.
Could you please confirm the below,
1) Did you buy them online?
2) Did you use the same email to receive Target gift cards for all 12 transactions

The person is just confused since your $100 pending charge will turn into $80 for the Apple gift card and $20 for the Target gift card.
Did that happen to you for your online purchase? meaning, you only got charged $80 on your credit card not $100? I understand that $100 shows on your credit card account as a "pending" charge. Can you clarify if, when the "pending", changes to processed, it will be a $80 charge to your credit card account and not $100?

1. For those buying an Apple iphone online. For a "trade in" of an older phone, does Apple credit you immediately. Meaning, if a phone costs $1,000 and you have a $300 trade in phone, does Apple charge you only $700 upfront? I ask because it will help me decide how many Target cards to get. Thank you.
no they have to receive your phone first and confirm the value after they actually check the condition.

Can you please provide instructions on how to add the Apple gift cards to an Apple account? And, is an Apple account the same as your icloud account one establishes when they buy an apple iphone?
If you're on an iOS device, you can go to App Store > Tap your profile picture > Redeem Gift Card or Code. Can also do it in the Apple Store app-- the balance will all fall into the same Apple account. Yes, it is the same account/email that you use to access your backups/apps.

How many apple gift cards can you use during checkout?
8 code maximum, but you can redeem them in your Apple ID and spend it at one time

I'm redeeming them through the "Apple Store" app.
1. Click on your account details (upper right corner).
2. Click on "Apple Account Balance"
3. Click on "Redeem a Gift Card"
4. Click on "Enter code manually "
5. Paste the eGift card code
6. Click "Redeem"

If you do it through iTunes, it'll still show up in the store app. Assuming you use the same account

For the most recent $20 that you got, how long (in hours) did it take to hit your account? Was it automatically added to your Target account?

Separately, for the transactions that were processed on your credit card, was it for $80 or $100?

Same account. If you do it through iTunes, it'll still show up in the store app
So there is a separate Apple Store account separate from your icloud account? What's the equivalent of the App store app for the online version?

I just got done ordering 8 $100 gift cards in 8 separate transactions. So far, four orders have been cancelled.

All of mine cancelled too.
Just an update on my post from yesterday (about 20 pages back at this point). The remaining four orders went through last night and I was able to immediately redeem the 4 apple gift cards. Shortly thereafter, the four $20 Target gift cards appeared in my account.

After redeeming the original four cards, I placed an order for another one $100 card. That was delivered and redeemed along with the fifth Target GC.

I now have two more orders pending.

I got my $100 Apple gift card within a couple hours, but now it's been over a day and still no $20 Target gift card yet.

They do credit you instantly first, after they received the trade-in, they will adjust the amount of trade-in base on the condition. As long as your phone turns on and no crack screen, you will get the full credit!!

I'm planning to buy 3 in-store and 3 online. Should I use Discover Card (has 5% cash back with Target online shopping) or Target Red card? Please advise!
