tip #2... use CB even if you don't think you will get a percent.. at worst you get 0.. at best you always get something.. For instance... if you use urlhasbeenblocked and buy electroncis at amazon, you will get 0 %.. but urlhasbeenblocked aka urlhasbeenblocked now still gets 4 %, they just cant share the 4 % as amazon doesnt allow splitting of electronics..
how annoying w/ the url is blocked SD.. if u dont want your competitors mentioend then give CASH BACK.. i'm referring to rakuteeeeeeen in this example

Which is the best for CB I've used others in the past that you have to have min $30 in CB before they send you the earned CB and so I basically quit using it.

They probably know that X percent of people will LOSE the GC or never use it... My guess is 5-10 % that get it... Then they can calculate that yes we give $20, but the average person spends $50 in store per purchase where 10 % is profit to them... So i'm sure they are making money off it (my number is a guess)....
That makes sense for their own Target gift cards - and they probably make money off the float - but I'm less clear about the 3rd-party cards like Apple or Starbucks. When they aren't running this sort of promotion, how much money does Target make on a $100 Apple gift card?

i bet 0 if i had to guess... they probably assume that people will buy a apple GC + something extra.. just like when you buy MILK at the local grocery store, the store basically makes 0 on it, but knows you will buy other stuff.. its also why its on the opposite side of the store , so you have to walk far to get to the milk, and pick up 3 other items prior to getting to that area..

i would not be holding more than i can apply to my account.. to many bots etc that try to break the code mechanism.. why do you want to hold more than 2k?
Well even if I buy a M1 MacBook right now it won't ship until 12/30, which is when they'll deduct the funds from my account and will be when I can add more cards to my account. So at minimum I have to wait until then. Alternatively I might decide to wait for a 16" M1 later in 2021 so I'll need to hold the funds until then.

No, it's what both the regular store says as well as my corporate discount store. I assume education would be the same but I don't use that one.

I'll check. My corporate discount is better than education though.

Sure they do, of the $100, $80 goes to Apple ($100 value card) and $20 goes to Target. Apple is the loser!
And how do you know that? It could be a coop split between the two or a loss leader for Target to get you to use those 20.00 credits on high margin stuff? Apple also knows there is some breakage on cards and I have no idea to what total that becomes for them.

A true SD would get a job at Apple or at least a P/T job merely in order to get the employee discount, or date somebody who does work there.

Just checked... education store says the same dates. All the way out to 12/31. This is custom configured one, not default model.

Yeah, it's probably already a loss leader, which makes giving away an additional $20 (or $24, if the buyer uses the Red Card) an interesting strategy. Maybe they figure people who buy Apple gift cards are probably also the type who buy higher ticket items like TVs etc. The margins on those things are pretty slim though.
