There is nothing they could do to make it easier on console beyond auto aim which is already there. This game is brutal and belongs on PC honestly. Unless you play on easy or something.

Is this worth buying or should I wait for a complete edition? . I dont plan on playing online at all.

Edit: looks like there are 2 planned campaign extension dlcs planned with 1 already released so I think I'll wait and hope for a deal on a complete edition.

Btw it will have free upgrade to ps5, xbox series sx upgraded versions when they are eventually released

I played on Xbox first and am now playing on pc. Both are challenging. But to say one is harder than the other idk... running 120fps gives input time advantage for sure. But the 60fps on console was serviceable.

I've played a lot of PC shooters and consider myself to be pretty good at PC shooters. This was on XBox Game Pass, so I played it for free on console.

The game involves a lot of fast movement and good aim, which makes it a better candidate for PC than for console. That having been said, it's definitely still fun on the console and rarely will you find yourself wondering how you're supposed to string together some combo with the console controller. Others have mentioned that there's some light auto-aim to help you out.

i didn't find the controls complicated at all... yeah it's difficult, but it's Doom, it's supposed to be Wink but the controls in no way made it more difficult.

yeah, parts can be brutal... but really not bad on console, no need to play on easy if you're good with a controller.
