DID YOU KNOW buydig is pronounced with a soft G sound (like George) and not with a hard G (like the word dig)? It's short for digital and they insist on keeping that same soft G sound.
It doesn't seem bad, although I would rather spend a bit more on the entry level Sennheiser gaming setup from Drop. As far as Audio Technica goes I've only owned the WS-1100i, but they were horribly uncomfortable and the sound was very bright and unimpressive. I tend to recommend finding a pair of great headphones you really enjoy and then just add a modmic onto it. I've been WFH for weeks and it's nice being able to switch out headphones but still have a reliable microphone to work with.

Why, why so many thumbs up? Would this be a great set for working from home in, taking calls on a laptop all day in?

Do you have a link to the Sennheiser set?

The sound isn't epic but it's pretty good and the mic works well. Depending on your IO ports you may need an adapter to convert the separate mic and headphone 3.5mm into a single 3 prong 3.5mm.

What made it uncomfortable? Clamping force?

A big advantage of the posted item is the in-line mic button. I prefer that to the Sennheiser's flip-up-boom mute.

I just picked up a Corsair HS60 Pro from BestBuy for $40 and it's still inside the return period, is this worth the extra $20?

And their plastic headbands that always break, no thanks. Sorry too many bad experiences with Turtle Beach, personally I like my Hyper-X. I like Audio-Technica for music though, might give these a shot.

Buy a Phillips SHP9500 for music at this price range.

Not the clamping force but more on the top of my head. Don't know what the technical term is for that part of the headphone. I don't know if it needed more padding and extra room for my larger head or what. I actually liked the flip up boom mic, it made it obvious whether I was muted or not.
