you can only use 2 of those 3 m.2 slots with that cpu don't think intel will make the 11000 cpus compatible with 490 boards so you will be stuck with a board with a useless m.2 slot.

They typically make boards compatible with 2 generations of CPUs so I think 11th gen will be compatible?

The non-KA combo is cheaper FYI.

Edit: SORRY I thought this was for the 10850k not the 10700k. The -KA version is cheaper for 10700k but the -K version is cheaper for the 10850k combo

I wouldn't pay $20 for artwork on a box and neither should you.

Am I seeing wrong? That link is to the 10 core. And the item that has the non KA version is actually fifteen dollars more expensive. $625 vs $610.

Did they change the price this morning?

Also, the KA version comes with a copy of Avengers for the PC, I thought.

It's rumored to but there's nothing official coming from Intel they are drastically changing the architecture as far as I understand so it's up in the air

Sorry my fault for misreading. I got that wrong.

The KA version does not come with a copy of Avengers. It only comes with the art on the box. The Marvel Avenger's software was given to all -K and -KA versions, but it seems like the promotion ended and now they're giving a $150 Intel Software Bundle instead. Frown

ok, thanks for clearing that up.

They may actually be making the ka version slightly cheaper just to clear inventory lol.

Yea the 11 series should be compatible. The Aorus master has support for PCI Gen 4 in anticipation of the 11 series Intel chips supporting it.

Mobo is overkill for most people. Newegg did a bundle with the 10700KA and Z490-F last month for only $430, if you're patient enough it might roll back around.

Also not sure if it still works, but Newegg was giving an extra 10% off if you created a new Newegg account in a new browser.
