LG 27QN600-B 27" QHD (2560 x 1440) IPS Display with FreeSync, sRGB 99% Color Gamut, HDR10 @ Amazon for $226.99
Regular price is $279.99 on Amazon, so pretty good sale at the moment. Currently in stock on Nov 29th!

Pretty good deal on a quality monitor.
27" @ QHD resolution, IPS panel monitor - IPS being desired for accurate color reproduction and great viewing angles.

75 hz is better than the 60 hz monitors you usually see. A 25 percent increase in max hz. Not quite the 144 hz for a FPS gaming monitor but not bad.

Really good reviews at 4.7 user rating on Amazon.

Going by that logic everyone should be buying those 15 inch portable 4k monitors since nothing comes close to them when it comes to PPI.

And why buy a 65 inch or 70 inch 4k TV when you can buy a 40 inch 4k TV since it has higher ppi?

Viewing distance. I have a 32 inch 4096x2160 and a 25 inch 2560x1440, I wouldn't want a computer monitor larger than this 27 inch without it being higher resolution.

Same applies to TVs. A 40 inch 4K set is great from a couple feet but if you have a large room a 75 inch 4K at 10 feet is the smallest I'd buy.

please explain to me how more money for the 32" variant is a better deal for this monitor. it's literally more money for worse ppi. unless you specifically desired 32" , it's a worse deal for most people.

Think of it as more money for more viewing area. I don't know what's there not to get. Are you being intentionally dense?

I haven't been keeping up with monitor stuff. Is HDR something to care about or is it just a marketing thing?

With that gatorade, I am just going to use my phone then, why buy a monitor for lower ppi?

Just remember that it's 75hz. So not a good option for competitive gaming. Assuming if you're getting 1440p then you have a nice GPU.

Also remember that hz has rapidly diminishing returns. So 75hz is about as good of a jump over 60 that 144 is over 75.

It's a better deal because a 10% increase in price gets you the same monitor with 40% more viewing area. http://www.comparetvsizes.com/?tv...=32&a2=169

If the 32" is too big for someone then its not a good fit for their needs, but thats different from not being a better deal.
