the 8TB version of this is overdue for being cheaper.
For those who will wonder, No this is not an SMR drive. This is $9 cheaper than Best Buy's 'regular' sale price on this. Cost per TB is within 50 cents of the lows I've been tracking for 8TB+ drives and is close to the Prime Day deal on Amazon for the 12TB WD External ($175).
Likely inside is a white label 5400 RPM drive equivalent to a WD Red, but check Google if you need the model number.
because this has hit this price point so many times in the past. 100% guaranteed this would hit front page if this was $110 or less.

Has anyone tried these size drives as external storage for an Xbox or PS5? Google searching shows the smaller 1tb and 2tb have no issues. Just wanted to ask about this version before I pulled the trigger.

I hear you, but I assume people still need it. I get the 14Tb is cheaper per TB,but not everyone need 14TB.
Maybe not the capacity but the sustained speeds are higher. Back when boomers ruled the earth we used to make partitions to only use the fastest part of the disk. With SSD nobody cares about HD speeds as much in consumer space it seems like.
