Even with this lowest price, I cannot justify the cost for this flimsy cover. I have plywood under the cover and haven't had any issues with rust, though I keep the griddle from most of the rain (it still develops a puddle from some cracks above but not much) and I live in northern california, not much humidity.
Good price though.

I paid full price last fall. If you're going to have a soft cover, then this is a must

Hmm tool set, now this, all I need is a SD on the griddle itself, lol.

I originally looked at these before buying the soft cover. The key to the soft cover is to pitch the center. I use a small bucket at the center and I have never once had water on my griddle over the 2 years I've had it. I'm in the south East and it's held up great out in the elements

The handles are so flimsy on this thing. I bought the Walmart exclusive version that came with it. One of the handles broke the first time I used it. Just fyi

I feel like you can get better quality by ordering from etsy. I did with windguards and have been very pleased.

I have this hard cover (it was a gift) along with a soft cover over it that I dome so it doesn't puddle like you said. No issues either
