I've run into similar issues w/ coupons. That's why I just order ahead. If the places accepts the coupon code, then I know it works. I'd hate to get to the Subway w/ a scannable coupon and have them reject it.

One Subway near me does take in person coupons, but they have a sign with the list of eligible sandwiches on it. Guess better than nothing.

I typically order ahead on the apps (Taco Bell, Starbucks, Firehouse Subs) when I go places nowadays. Real time saver. Waiting in line or drive-thru can waste a lot of time. Order ahead and I'm in and out quickly. Smilie

Seems to be only select Subway locations, just like last time around. I tried the promo code for two of the closest Subways and it didn't work.

The only that worked was a Subway in a hospital near me. Stick Out Tongue

I used the FREEFOOTLONG code on the Subway.com website for two nearby locations and it didn't accept the code. YMMV.

The hospital location accepted the code. It's not far from my house, so I'll swing by there.

As far as combining with a deal, the other option is the current AMEX offer, which is $5 back on a $15 or more purchase - if you want to load up on perhaps an additional footlong. The offer is good through 12/5 if it's on your card.

Yeah the continuity of service with these subway coupon deals stinks. Usually I get a we don't accept that along with a story. I usually stop them with a "Ok, thanks!" I have been having luck with coupons using the subway in walmart. I don't know if those subways are corporate or if I am just lucky with my local one.

Afaik it's the franchise that takes the cost. Subway pays a negligible amount as a compensation on this promo.
