Good deal on the bits. Couple things of note.

If the pic is accurate. This is dewalts old case and its no good. Hard to get bits in and out. Their new cases are significantly better w their new and vastly improved holders. Imo best of all brands.

Dewalts magnetic bit holder is awful. Worst of all brands. Its impossible to pull your bit out without a pliers which completely defeats the purpose.

Good deal if you just need these specific bits. But there are other $10-$12 deals in big box stores right now and a lot them are the new case which imo is the better buy.

Edit: they updated the picture since I posted... it now shows the newer model case. Way better if thats the one Ace is selling at your local store.
The online listing still shows both pictures which is really odd. I totally agree with what you said. The old case is super annoying. There was another case design in between that was also annoying, but this new clear case design is excellent and so much easier to get the small bits in and out.

This particular magnetic bit holder is terrible, but the sleeved ones like this other one are quite good.

The sleeve slides up over the screw so that it doesn't fall off the end of the bit. This is very helpful with stainless steel screws that won't stick to a magnet.

Honestly the kit I linked is a better value IMO because the black oxide bits seem to break more easily.

This is also a killer deal for anyone interested:

Right angle adapter is usually around $20 and it's in this $15 kit.

I have the dewalt bit set. I agree with all the reviews that say getting the bits back into the case is really annoying.

Anyone know if they make a titanium Aluminium alloy bit yet? My impact needs bits to chew up!

This kit with model number DWA2SLS30 does not exist in Phoenix. HD has it share the same internal item number as the following kit. I checked 4 different stores couldn't find the one you listed. They all were populated with the below kit instead, even though the label on the shelf has the above DeWalt model number.

As the Tool Boss says as soon as you get home take out the magnetic bit holder and chuck over your dense to your neighbors yard - it's garage!

Thanks! I checked that kit yesterday and it was unavailable for delivery, looks like it's back in stock now.

Just to confirm, the old bad cases are the non-clear ones that have yellow bit holders, and the good new ones are the half-clear ones with black bit holders?

Correct. Although the old yellow ones that are rectangular aren't as bad in my opinion. The old ones that are curved along the opening edge are the worst.

Thank you for doing the leg work on that. I didn't realize they had regional model numbers.

Oddly the site has both & they show the same level of inventory, but at least on Phoenix is the DWAMF30 that's locally in store & probably what you'd get if your ordered online for pickup
