Phones are getting too expensive. I think consumers are getting sick of buying a phone at $1,000 to only have that phone worth $200 in two years. Especially with the upcoming recession that is going to occur, people are getting smarter with their money.
I've been using my S7 edge for the past 4 years, still running like a champ.

These will be cheaper on black friday. The s21 will launch in Jan and they are slated to start at a lower price than what the s20 were launched at.
Gone are those days when they used to have deals on the BF most of them very low end products. Now the new normal is deals spread out over the month.

Yep, the glass is glass, and glass breaks. But who change battery nowadays? If U keep the phone for more than 2 years that's make sense. Otherwise?

$300+ per year of phone use value is unsustainable. 80% of the market will not accept currently

S7 here. Had to reset it earlier this year, and the battery is starting to drain quicker than usual. The wifes S7 took a shit last month, she needed a phone quick and ended up getting the S10e for $400 at MS.

Years of bing points paying off, -$250 each phone.

S21 will be launched in January 2021 which is much more earlier than usual. It's better to hold your money for three months for a better value. And there will be no Note update next year. S21 will support S-pen as well.

support, but not able to include in the body like the Note line, personally I don't care about the pen but some people do
but it make sense to push people to buy the fold series

glass back is a crappy move to make it harder to replace the battery.. they use adhesive to seal the phone and you sometimes need heat to remove the adhesive, and if you heat stress glass, it could crack.

glass supposedly feels premium and also allows wireless charging.

not that i agree with it, it makes phones even more fragile when they are all glass.

But I remember forever when Samsung had thin removable plastic back every reviewer could never stop whining about how they didn't "feel premium" like probably apple.

I'd PM to samsung and try to get them to send you a code for the difference. Usually works on chat.
Wouldn't price match via chat to MS store. Go figure.
