Damn, these are the original Galaxy Buds. Was hoping for the Galaxy Buds+.

I have the original (bought at BF deal last year), and they're not bad, but there are a few niggling complaints that I'm hoping later versions address:
- The buds are fine for hearing calls, but nearly every person I've ever called with them complains that it sounds like I'm in a wind tunnel. Terrible microphone.
- Battery life is about par with the spec on the buds themselves, but I've started to notice weirdness with the charging case, where it starts to show yellow (meaning 60% battery) after recharging the buds from only an hour of use.
- To boot, the charging case will obnoxiously blink red supposedly when it's at 20% or below. For all intents and purposes, however, if you don't charge it then and there, it will be dead by morning. My guess is that the stupid thing will just keep blinking until it exhausts that remaining 20%.
There's supposedly a huge difference in mic quality too

Only 2 things. 1. Battery life of buds+ is closer to 11 hours rather than 6. 2. There's now an extra driver that's supposed to make sound clearer. I have both and also have very sensitive ears and I barely notice a difference.

I remember when some of the original Buds were on sale refurbished at BB. There were alot of complaints that, for whatever reason, BB would replace the original wingtips with off-brand tips that prevented the buds from actually fitting in the charging case.

That doesn't sound like something I wish to pay for.

I don't know how sensitive your ears are, but i own both of them I hear huge difference in sound quality including clearer upper and puncher bass than the predecessor.
And there are tons of reviews saying that the Buds plus has way more advantages than the previous ones. so I am assuming your ears aren't so sensitive after all. Based on the statement you posted. Smilie
