keep your receipt in case it bricks when you do setup and it downloads the new firmware.
I purchased one yesterday and it bricked, exchanged for another one and it did the same thing. Just going to return it now.

Show $44.99 in BS, debating if its worth to check if it's priced lower in store like some SD'ers have found.

Bought 5 and I'll be returning them all. Live video is delayed. I was planning to use these in kids rooms, but they won't function well for that.
What do you expect for a cam that operates in the cloud? And why on earth do you need cameras without a delay (or cameras at all, for that matter) in anything other than an infant/toddlers room?

29.99 Oxnard, CA. They have several. You have to go to a register and ask the checker. They're in a locked cabinet in the front.

How bad is the delay? I would expect some, given the data has to travel to more than your phone directly.
For faster live video access, use the "Rapid Ring" app. It's much faster than the standard Ring app

Huh? Who needs (security) cameras "without a delay"? Is that what you actually meant to write?

I like Ring cameras because I can use the motion detection on the camera to do automation with Alexa. For those who already subscribe to Ring security monitoring subscription, this is a no brainer - as long as you don't put these in bedrooms or bathrooms (due to privacy concern).

Educate yourself on how this actually works prior to making a false comment.

The police have nothing better to do than look in your house while you eat Cheetos and watch the weather channel. How exciting! Lol.
I do agree I would never put any "online" camera in places I want complete privacy. I could care less if the police wanted to look at the video of my doorbell camera pointing at my porch. It's a "public" view.

You say that but maybe they device you have too many people visiting your home and then device to get a warrant and come in and trash the place looking for money and drugs
