I was just on this website yesterday looking at the Ryobi rotary tool and it was 39.99. I was hoping for a 20% off sale. Today I see this and woohoo.....I go back to the website and the website is jacked. Taking several minutes to load. Finally I get it to work. Here comes the rotary tool. 47.99 with 20% discount. I don't know about any of the other tools, but for this one, they went ahead and raised the price to 59.99 and with 20% off it's now 47.99. Good luck Suckers !! Not falling for this.

That's how DTO works. You usually have very few items that are glut-inventory-priced which are great deals, while everything else is just normally priced. And then you have these occasional site-wide sales where most things on the site are at good-but-not-great prices. It sounds like the rotary was glut-priced at $40 (regular $79). They no longer have a glut on that item with all the extra traffic due to the sale. $48 is still a good price. There's no telling when they'll have enough excess inventory for that tool to drop to $40 again. An outlet is a place for opportunistic buying. You're not entitled to anything.

All these items cannot be added to a cart - they are local pickup only!

Except for the glue gun, this is just the 20% off everything they r running again!
Why not just state that.
Unless u know something is a real deal and lower than the daIly specials, I'd wait. Things have been lower.
Only saving grace is putting a big order together and take advantage of $7 flat rate, which might offset the price.

BTW, I've gotten 2 orders with great deals cancelled. One the whole order. The other I got a great deal and added The daily bc of flat rate shipping, and I only got the daily special and had to pay the $7 flat rate just for that and that ended being a so so deal. They never notified me and when I called they were very UN apologetic, and would cut me a break on shipping.

Which buffer is the best between the two? The one that has higher RPM's? I know nothing.

Just picked up the 10" buffer. Like they say bigger is better.

Watch a few YouTube videos and it may help with your decision. I went with the 6" since it's smaller so that I can use it for some smaller spaces.

Site is flaky but managed to get buffer, glue gun and inflator for delivery.

I've been getting a lot of use out of the Corner Cat sander and it's held up great. The only real drawback is the dust collection - there isn't any. There's a port to hook up a vacuum, but it requires an addition $15-20 connector.

That dust adapter was $9 when I got mine, but looks like it went up in price to $14.

I hit them up earlier and got some SAP cloud error. I think they maybe in the middle of rolling it out.
As someone who was part of a company (under the umbrella of a multi-billion dollar company) where SAP was rolled out, I feel this in my bones. It took YEARS, and they still didn't have it running as well as before the move at the time I left.

To add into the discussion on the product, the 6" polishers is where you want to be. Better would be to up the budget by a bit and get something with a bit more power so that you can actually do some "polishing", or paint correction. These light-duty ones are more like wax spreaders, but with some modifications to hold a small 5 inch pad, can be used for very light polishing. I would stay away from the cordless ones for polishing, though.
