Thanks, man. $350 + tax is a great price for this phone! There's a $40 activation fee but I am going to call and see if they knock the in half like they do for phones purchased online direct from Verizon.

Thank you I was able to purchase for pickup tomorrow at Best Buy. Paid $40 down today (tax), they are letting me trade in my iPhone 7plus for $150.

Important, these are NOT bill credits and I was able to remain on my old plan. FDUp

Thanks again and repped!

EDIT: Costco has this same deal tomorrow, which I was waiting for. But this is way easier as I was able to choose which line to upgrade and go through the check out process on the spot via bb.com

Now all I have to do is go to Best Buy and pick up the device

Anyone know if you can buy it for a Verizon postpaid account, pay it off immediately, and use on a different Verizon prepaid account? Trying to help a friend

Pretty sure this is as good as it's going to get. This is exactly Costco's Black Friday deal.

I was able to pay my device off immediately after purchasing when this deal ran a couple weeks ago. I think the 60 day device lock to verizon remains the same regardless. I've heard of folks taking from postpaid to prepaid, but I've never tried it personally. Best of luck.

Saw that costco had this same deal. So this will work for lines due for an upgrade right (not just for new lines)? Are you able to use verizon device dollars as well? I have about $60 ready. I wonder if Verizon would match the deal?

I just ordered 2 from Best Buy. I would have bought them from Costco, but I don't feel like fighting the crowds in S Cal and I understand people are lining up again to get into the stores...

I called Verizon beforehand - they can not match the deal but they will discount the activation fee by 50%. The agent I spoke with said that is the best they can do and the 50% is 'hardcoded' into their system. So $80 in activation fees reduced to $40 - better than nothing.

Lastly, Blue phone should be delivered this Monday but a Red phone is going to take another week

Was that a different deal? Because on Best Buy's site it says Save $400 ($16.67/mo.) in red right under the monthly fees. I was under the impression if it said that, it is bill credits.

These have the touchscreen issue though, right? Is that just not that big of a deal to most people?

a couple of articles I read mentioned that and that Samsung was trying to initiate firmware updates to address the problem. Someone mentioned that just make sure you test your phone when you first get it and if you notice a problem, send it back an request a replacement if you think you have a faulty phone

Best buy associate in Denver was pretty adamant you couldn't pay off the phone in full after 14 days and hadn't heard of requesting an unlock code after 60 days. Guess I'll check in with costco

Well, this is from the contract I received. Keep in mind, I believe you are still committing to a 24 month contract and financing it through Verizon is 0% APR

3. PREPAYMENT: You may pay the total amount due under this Device Payment Agreement at any time before the final scheduled payment is due, and You will not have to pay a penalty. If You pay more than the monthly payment due, any excess amount You pay will be credited to Your account, and applied to any future charges pursuant to Section 2 above.
