Hisense 50" H8G Quantum Series - 4K UHD TV - Smart - LED - with HDR-- PC Richard $399.99 PM with BB

cashback for BB is 3% hence the PM. Buy from BestBuy & call in to PM, don't use chat (wasted 30 min of my life with the runaround from the rep who can't do PM nor cancel) but it all worked out with phone rep.

Yes there's Amazon deal 6 months prior with $50 less but I don't want to wait & the PC Richard price match new item on ebay (with only 30 day return). So it was a no brainer to buy from a reputable vendor with 1 year warranty + do a pricematch

I tried to do the price match a couple weeks ago and I don't have a PC Richards within 25 miles of me so they wouldn't price match.

I was able to find same model for $408 delivered (arrives today!). Tried to post the deal, but it's a banned merchant for some reason... 🤷 ♂️

thats not bad for $408 --thats without tax I assume. LMK what you like or dislike about it -- been doing a bit of reading on various sites. Looks like Theatre Day shd do the trick without going thru professional calibration. I didn't want to wait for a sale & the reviews so far I've read just RAVE about this TV for the price.

Yeah I've been waiting for this model to do something since I didn't pull trigger on Prime Day.

It was $429 with a sitewide 5% off coupon. No tax and free shipping. Another 2% cash back from one of the referral sites. I was cool with that deal.

Saw the deal I think youre talking about. I was going to buy it from there but their returns/exchanges is crap from what ive heard. Bunch of stories of it taking a long time to get money back. Also they dont do free returns, you need to pay return shipping. If my TV arrived broke or something Id be on the hook for shipping back a 50" tv across the country which isnt cheap. So opted for waiting for now. Glad this new deal popped up

Yeah I definitely looked into the return policy before I ordered. I actually ordered without the 5% coupon code and called customer service and they refunded no problem. Just decided to roll the 🎲 🤞

I'd be interested if it were the 55" at this price.

I recently picked up this TV for $399 ($430 after tax) and it has been great.

Colors definitely needed tweaking out of the box (I used RTings.com) and I disabled motion smoothing across the board - but all in all a great TV

Anyone have a sense as to how reliable the brand is? I understand the performance is considered good but I worry about long term electronic reliability vs bigger name brands. The Best Buy store rep who I thought was pretty good said, don't buy Hisense, they are not reliable, I've had to replace 3 of the floor models recently for random failures. This was vs all the other floor models.

I've been waiting to go down to 350 again but it seems thus tv hardly ever goes on sale. My brother has this TV and it looks amazing. Way better that samsungs q60 and its cheaper. Its more comparable to the q70r but at half the price. He's had it for around a year and so far no issues

Yeah, this is my worry as well. This is a well-reviewed TV, but I don't want the thing dying on me few months down the road. Cost aside, replacing a TV is a hassle unlike most other pieces of electronics.

Mine has been good so far. I have an older model from when they were first entering the US market and were offing 5 year warranties on them. It could be a case where they build the early models better then cheap out later though, I dunno.

I think they are like the 3rd or 4th largest TV manufacturer in the world so it isn't like they are a small brand.

60hz no hdmi 2.1 lol not even a deal

Paying 1k for 120htz isn't even worth it. 60htz is perfectly fine. Specially for $400.
