First of all. Hindi knives are NOT Japanese knives despite all their claims to use Japanese steel Japanese forging, Japanese style logo and japanese.sounding names.
They are an American company marketing low to mix quality Chinese knives

Looks like crapware. The MSRP, which is always inflated and never sold for at that price, is $98.

Bought these in 2011 for $50 and were ok at that price, but the recent reviews make it sound like quality has gone way downhill. For this price, I'd just get a nice paring knife, santoku/chef's knife, and maybe a bread knife. I don't use the other knives as often.
