I added 1 keypad, 2 sensor and 1 motion detector, the keypad price i got it from costco while the other parts I grabbed it from amazon
Sometimes Office Depot used to have them on clearance. I think they got rid of all of their security devices. Ring being part of it so was marked down like 70 percent

so extra Montion Sensor = $25, contact sensors 2x20=40, keypad=$50 so saving about $55 if you need additional accessories. looks like this might be a better deal than Costco 130 for 10 pieces. Tks OP.

Ring Black Friday deal for ring secure 14 piece $199 is back till Nov 30. Was going to purchase the Costco deal but this has extra sensors and motion detector and keypad. All other items including cameras are also on sale including floodlight for $189.

Comes with free security yard sign for $14.99! Checkout with Paypal for additional 5% cb with freedom effectively dropping this to $190 for some folks.

Looks like Amazon has the 14 piece with free echo dot back at $199 as well. You won't be able to check out with PayPal for $10 cash back and won't get the security yard sign but it's a free echo dot. I can't decide which to pull the trigger on..

If you have the amazon card, can't you knock 5% off it basically?

In the same pickle as you...not sure which one I should get. I think i'm going to lean for the free echo dot so that it can serve as a sensor as well..

What is Alexa Guard?

With Guard, Alexa can help you keep your home safe. When you set Guard to Away mode, Alexa can send you Smart Alerts via notifications to your phone if an Echo device detects the sound of smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, or glass breaking. Guard also works with Ring Alarm. To learn more about Guard, open the Alexa app, go to Settings, and tap Guard.

I got two Costco packages. I need four more sensors to cover all our windows, but I will just use the motion sensors in those areas. We have one set up with all our doors. I love having an alert when a door is opened or if the motion sensor is activated while we are away.

Got it for $160 during last ring.com deal using a 20% seniors code. Love it so far. The contact sensors are more versatile than they look in pictures. You can literally put them anywhere and they don't have to line up perfectly.

Unlike Google, Amazon doesn't randomly cancel important products that aren't deemed experiments. I regret not buying into Ring instead of Nest

outside of the base package you can good deals on additional sensors (sealed) from ebay. a 2-pack of contacts is ~$25 and a motion is ~$25.

This or the Costco 10 piece? Which one is better deal?
my understanding is that if you want a two pad system you have to buy this one. you can not buy two single pads from costco and make them work together.

Some newbie questions. I have home security system prewired when the home was built. I am getting ripped off paying $39 a month and use Alarm.com app for full control. I am debating on getting one of these kits instead to replace the system. Can the system be setup to alert you with voice on which doors open ? For example my current system just chimes anytime a door opens. I rather know which door opened say garage door, porch door etc. How do the sensors communicate? are they using bluetooth or wifi?

How and what do you use the Ring keypad gen2 with Smarthings?
