Omni-grips are good for me, but they wear out a little too fast. Though I did put at least 200-300 miles on my last Columbia lightweight hikers so maybe it's just standard.

This sale is just ok, prices were lower at several points. Columbia prices are not usually lower on their own site, and there's plenty of Columbia closeouts through other outlets. Occasionally they have good sales but this isn't one of them.

Been waiting for the IVO to go on sale! Thanks!

Just noticed that when I bought in March they were $10 less. Oh well. They are very comfortable as a walking shoe.

Columbia Omni grip soles are pretty trash for hiking. Do not use on slightly wet rocks or wet leaves or you will have a bad time. Vibram soles are leagues better.

I'm not sure they make them anymore. A lot of brands are doing their own soles now. Like merrell with their own m grip. For around town these are totally fine to wear no problem.

I've had some pretty damn shitty vibrams, as far as grip.
