I've been waiting for these to go back on sale. I got a pair of Sony SS-CS5 on sale as well for $73 but I really Klipsch's sound so I'll see how these fare against the Sony.

You really want the 5in versions... Otherwise the comparison to Sony at this level is 100% subjective.

I totally agree... with one caveat. Using these as rear sides works really well because of the brighter sound. Since most of the time you hear screaming, nature sounds, gunfire, things like that from the back, having these works well. But if you plan on using them for music, or as fronts, absolutely go with the 15/51s.

I'll admit as far as surrounds goes, for that reasoning, it it appropriate. If you are going budget, need only surrounds for theater sound then one could do worse that costs more. Thanks for the insight.

Anyone have these or the 51s on the wall? Seems a bit big, was thinking about just going with the reference theatre pack, not looking for amazing but looking for decent.

Was also eyeing the SVS Prime satellites, want it pretty much out of sight as much as possible with decent sound. It's a 20'x30' family room, mainly movies and casual TV/sports.

Thanks for sharing, i picked these up to use as front speaker for a small surround setup. I will pair it with the thearter pack. This is the best price for the these speakers.
