Please add to description that the towels are redeemed via mail-in rebate
The towel offer is only valid for a $200 purchase so it doesn't apply to the knife sets above; I just removed it from the title.

Are these knives really good for your avg home cook enthusiast? Any other brand/set equal or better in this price range?

I own the 8" chef's knife and the 4" paring knife from this line, have had them for a few years and use them for the vast majority of my cooking. 100% would recommend if you are looking for some highly functional no-frills kitchen knives. The steel holds an edge for a long time and the rubber-like texture of the handle makes them easy to grip securely even if wet. $150 for the set is a very decent price, you don't see these four star 7 piece + block bundles drop below $200 very often.

Just a quick note --- Acacia is a 14 slot knife block vs Birch's 10 slot block.

Zwilling J.A. Henckels Four-Star knives are very good knives and you won't be disappointed. I personally own a Four-Star santoku for the last 5 years and really enjoy it. About 3-4 years ago, you can get this set down to $120 range during Black Friday but nowadays $150 is a decent deal.

For those who are only interested in getting a good chef's knife, here is a Zwilling® Pro 7-Inch Chef's Knife at Bed Bath and Beyond for $59.99. If you have a $15 off $50 coupon or 20% off single item coupon, you can get it for $44.99 or $47.99 + tax. Shipping is free on $39+ purchases.

Zwilling® Pro is a step up from Four-Star. Because it has half bolster, the 7-inch chef's knife has the entire 7 inches of cutting edge while the 8-inch Four-Star chef's knife has 7.5 inches or less cutting edge due to its full bolster. Not everyone is a fan of full bolster especially if you sharpen your knives yourself. Pro has full tang while Four-star has 3/4 tang. I also own this Zwilling® Pro 7-inch chef's knife.

Here is a comparison table from Williams Sonoma: https://www.williams-sonoma.com/n...ILLING.pdf
