Is this oven any good?

It says "*When you order 6 weeks of meals over 6 months. Choose "I'm hungry for a deal" option at checkout."

When you try to buy the oven it takes you to a page to order meals so this is not just a $99 oven. You will need to spend several hundred on meals to get it.

I don't own one, so I was hoping someone who does would be able to add. There's some good reviews on Amazon, but Fakespot is giving it a D score, and a lot of what I've found on Youtube are all sponsored reviews. I did find some reviews on Reddit from people who really love the toaster oven (without subscribing to the meal delivery).

Regarding the meals: Yeah, I think the meals are separate. I currently subscribe to HelloFresh, so for me paying roughly the same on a box (3 meals a week at about $67/meal for 2 servings) is worth it to have a smart toaster oven, which I was looking to buy anyway.

This definitely probably isn't a deal for people looking to just buy a toaster oven, and probably will mostly appeal to those who do the meal delivery kits, who happen to want a toaster oven.

On another note, it's really frustrating that this post is getting such a bad score considering there are posts all the time on SD where there is no deal whatsoever (i.e. PS5 pre-sales) that get ranked high.

Have you checked the GameSpot rating? With many more 9ne star than 2 and 3 stars combined, the 4 and 5 star reviews are not reliable.

Here's the math breakdown for you:

Amazon $224.25
Tovala $99 if you order a minimum of 6 weeks of orders. If you're like me and looking at the minimum amount to spend on meals just to get the good price on the oven then here is the breakdown: 3 meals a week at $12 a meal with $6 shipping. $42 a week x 6 = $252.00 taking into fact this isn't for any premium meals which add about $3-$4 to a single meal.

So you'd spend $351.00 Pre tax for the oven but you'd also be getting 18 meals total. It would be $126.75 total difference if you take the $351-$224.25(amazon price) the 18 meals would then equal $7.04 each meal shipped. If you divide the $126.75 by 18 meals.

Sorry are u saying the amazon price is the better route?

I ordered one for $50 w the 6 weeks of meals commitment. I haven't yet received any meals and have only had the oven over this past weekend but so far I like that it has a lot of "baked in" recipes which are easy and a little different than I'm used to. I made a salmon filet that was delightful and even rice, which I've always cooked on a stove, but which was even easier in this machine. My go to breakfast this week has been the toast w the hole cut out of it and an egg cooked inside. I drizzle some real maple syrup on it and that makes it delicious. For the most part the addition of steam makes this over more versatile and useful than my smart oven, and the recipes that don't require a purchase are pretty simple and taste good. I usually just change whatever I need to so the recipe comes out good.
