I bought the Max since I consider myself an audiophile. Max would have a fuller sound especially with the low frequency ranges.
In a small apartment, google home audio paired as a stereo setup may be a more economical package. If money isn't a problem and you have good neighbors go for the max x2!

First, amazing price. Previous best deals were $199 for one or a two-pack for $340.

Couple quick questions:
  • Is it worth purchasing two for stereo when one lives in a very small apartment?
  • Does it still sound good if I turn the bass down to not annoy the other people in my complex?
  • If in stereo mode, will bluetooth still work through both or does it only cast in stereo sound when casting?
I was thinking about getting the Sonos Beam instead cause it's on sale at Costco for $289 (and most other places for $299) but it doesn't have bluetooth.

It's not a soundbar, it has an AUX port, bluetooth, and chromecast functionality. I believe chomecast devices can use it as a speaker, I have not tried it myself though.

I read reviews about lag/delay if used with Bluetooth. Didn't really look into the stereo mode with Bluetooth, my guess is it would work like any other Bluetooth devices.

Man, this is a deal! Got one at $199 earlier this year and have been way impressed at the sound quality.

Sometimes I'll just queue up some deep basic music and stand right in front of it. It's so magical!

Also: I double it up as a smart soundbar. So definitely worth it!

Don't do it in apartments. Your neighbor is going to hate you.

It doesn't need Bluetooth, it pretty much forces you to use wifi and the sonos app. You can't group sonos with anything but sonos. I kind of regret my beam, it also gets out of sync audio on my oled

You're saying don't get the max or don't pair up to max's?

I don't try to pricematch with Target much. Would target.com match this price typically, if you contact support? I have gift cards for them, is why I ask.
