The amount of times people say something like this with no reference to exactly what deal they got...and then if you get them to follow up, you find out they got a deal on an inferior model and it wasn't nearly the deal they claimed it to be.

Just bought it. Needed a printer. Would have preferred duplex scanning (this is only 1-sided scan, 2-sided print), but couldn't wait anymore for the perfect deal. Also saw quite a few replacement cartridge sets for under $50 on Amazon with A-fakespot ratings. Worth rolling the dice.

I too am wondering about aftermarket toner.

Also can anyone speak to the difference in print quality to Brother? I have my eye on the $400 Brother 3770 because the guy ay Staples recommended it based on my requirements are:
Color laser with scanner
Entry level price point
Reasonably price toner (which i expect will mean it needs to accept generic cartridges unless there is some kind of laser version of an Eco Tank). TIA

Returns allowed through 1/20. If it goes lower, I'll get a price adjustment or return/rebuy. My schoolteacher wife needs a decent color laser at home now, and office products are in demand, so I'll take a reasonable price at the moment.

I need to send and recieve fax, not sure what the "send" feature is they refer to or how to send fax via internet. Seems like a hassle
